How to ask

In the Mihnaro app: Settings → Request account deletion → Send. You can add a reason.

Or by email: write to [email protected] from the email address of your account, with the subject “Delete my account”, and the name of the company you work for.

Your employer’s HR is told at the same time, because your employer decides what it must keep about you by law.

What is deleted

Your sign-in account: name, email or username, password, two-step verification, preferences, the phones you are signed in on and their notification tokens.

Your live location points, the photos you uploaded that are not part of a record the law requires, and data on your phone (signing out of the app removes it).

We confirm by email when it is done, within 30 days of the request.

What your employer may have to keep

Labour, tax and social-security laws usually require employers to keep employment records for a number of years: for example your contract, attendance, leave, payroll and payslips. Your employer keeps those for as long as the law requires, then deletes them; you can ask your employer’s HR which records it keeps and for how long.

Records kept for the law are no longer linked to a sign-in account, so no one can sign in with them.
